On 23 August 2024, a unique organ and cello concert will take place in Cambo-Les-Bains!
With musicians of great quality such as :
Emmanuel BERENZ titular organist of Notre-Dame de Clignancourt and
Marion GAILLAND cellist with the Radio-France Philharmonic Orchestra.
The programme includes Bach, Vivaldi, Schubert, Mendelssohn and Gluck.
The concert takes place at 8.30pm in the Saint-Laurent church in Cambo!
Participation is free.

LES INTERPRÈTES :
ORGAN : Emmanuel BERENZ
Born in Metz, Lorraine, Emmanuel Berenz began his musical studies on the clarinet with Philippe Dorn, before taking up the organ with Pierre Farago and singing with Christa Bein, Jean-Daniel Senesi, Malcolm King and Doris Lamprecht.
He began his career as organist and choirmaster at the Chapelle Notre-Dame du Saint-Sacrement in Paris, where he was responsible for designing the new organ built by Olivier Chevron. He went on to found and direct the Ensemble Fons Vita, a chamber choir made up of ten singers, and was artistic director of the Franco-German Choir of Berlin.
He is currently maître de chapelle and titular organist of the church of Notre-Dame de Clignancourt in Paris, and is developing his musical career as an organist, but also as a lyric singer (as a light tenor) and choirmaster.
CELLO : Marion GAILLAND
Born in Pau, where she learnt to play the cello with Odile Petit, she went on to study at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris with Michel Strauss, where she was awarded a First Prize in 1996 in Roland Pidoux’s class, followed by an advanced course. She has been a member of the European Community Youth Orchestra conducted by Carlo Maria Giulini and Georges Prêtre, as well as the Renoir Quartet and the ensemble Les Phil’Art’Cellistes.
Marion Gailland has been a member of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France since 1999. Regularly invited to take part in chamber music festivals (Festival du Larzac, Rencontres de Bélaye, Les folles Journées, Musique en Bordelais, Concerts d’Uza), she is also involved in musical projects for vulnerable people, including them or aimed at them.
