A FIRST-EVER CONCERT IN CAMBO: ORGAN & CELLO
On 23 August 2024, a unique organ and cello concert will take place in Cambo-Les-Bains!
With musicians of great quality such as :
Emmanuel BERENZ titular organist of Notre-Dame de Clignancourt and
Marion GAILLAND cellist with the Radio-France Philharmonic Orchestra.
The programme includes Bach, Vivaldi, Schubert, Mendelssohn and Gluck.
The concert takes place at 8.30pm in the Saint-Laurent church in Cambo!
Participation is free.
Awakening of the organ of Cambo-Les-Bains
On Sunday, February 11, 2024, the new baroque organ of Cambo was blessed by Monsignor Aillet who then proceeded with the ritual of its awakening, assisted to do this by Thomas Ospital "L'enfant du Pays" today an international concertist and titular organist of the grand organ of the Saint-Eustache church in Paris.
It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
On Sunday, 15 October 2023 at around 8pm a van and its trailer accompanied by a lorry arrived at the church square in Cambo-Les-Bains. They are arriving from Dresden in Germany. And so begins the 1st episode of the video series "A baroque organ for Cambo".
Cambo organ: a step forward!
Kristian Weigscheider, the organ builder, came from Germany with Mathias Weisbach to take the necessary measures for the construction of the new baroque organ for Cambo. They were then accommodated in Halsou and Laurent their host offered them a memorable evening. With music of course!

The call for tenders is online. It's official ! So, it is a great event for our association and we hope to succeed in this project ! As well it is a very important step for the association Les Amis de l'Orgue Saint Laurent de Cambo. And then, this call for tenders institutionalizes the project.
